I don’t feel right calling myself an ‘ed miliband fan account’ seeing that he did not vote for calling a ceasefire in Palestine. I still respect him in other policy areas but as a politican he has a responsibility to do what is moral - and just allowing people to be slaughtered is not that. I knew this was coming, but I am still deeply disappointed in him.
I completely agree with what McDonnell has said above.
I agree with you here. And this is literally an Ed Miliband fan account… Quite disappointed to see.
Did he do this to save his own skin/avoid resigning, or is this really what he believes is best?
Help me.

#i'll have ed's if he doesn't want it
#the last thing he needed was a picture of him eating a powdered donut there is no dignified way
I’M HAVING ISSUES RN
I can’t remember who said it (I think it was DK) but someone pointed out that Ed always looks at Justine like he can’t believe his luck and his heart is going to burst with joy, and it’s just so sweet :-)

I think my favourite Ed Miliband moment was when he made a podcast episode in 2017 capped "TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS" just like that in all caps, or maybe as a close second is the dramatic reading of Ed Miliband's Dad Killed My Kitten
Answer:
Oh my god never forget “Ed Miliband’s Dad Killed My Kitten”
Ralph Miliband, The Red Bastard, The Man Who Hated Kittens
I lose it every time at “squishing him flat.” I mean, poor Winston (assuming he was a real kitten) but how do these things get published
And thank you for mentioning the Reasons to be Cheerful podcast. That show always brings me a bit of joy. To be honest my favourite parts are the banter between Ed and Geoff lol but a lot of the interviews are really great.
They did indeed have an episode in 2017 with that title. (link!) The title had no pun, no subtitle, just- trans rights are human rights, period. It’s a great episode, and I heartily recommend it. It would be great if they did another episode on trans rights and issues in 2023.
#thank you for sharing your faves! Thanks for the response - those are all classic moments.
My favourite Ed moment is probably him tabling that fracking motion that brought Liz Truss down - just perfectly timed brilliant politics on an issue he's clearly very passionate about.
Answer:
Oh my god yes. That was such a thrilling political moment paired with a truly heart-felt and well-delivered speech. Absolutely a high point for Ed. I’m so glad he’s got the position as climate change shadow secretary because he is so clearly passionate about it
#yay thank you these best of Ed moments are making me happy right now :DPersonal favourite Ed Miliband moment is that internal market bill speech he made against Boris Johnson. I watch it like three times a week Iove it so much
Answer:
Yes, a lot of Ed’s more recent speeches as Shadow secretary have been just on fire.
“I’m sure he knows it in detail because he’s a details man!”
Another great one recently was the question on fracking against Jacob Rees-Mogg
idk if you’re still active but do you have an all time favourite Miliband moment?
Answer:
Hello, thank you so much for the ask. One of the folks who runs this blog is still active on tumblr. I don’t post enough on this blog, but I still love Ed, so I should really try to post more.
Sorry it took so long to answer this ask. Never mind my long list of excuses… I’ll just answer
Ed’s best moment for me, I think, was the Q&A with Jeremy Paxman before the 2015 election, which featured the infamous “Am I tough enuss?”
As awkward as he was (a given), Ed really shined in that interview while Cameron basically flubbed it. I thought it was a real high point for Ed. Hell yes he’s tough enough!
Honourable mentions to:

🤡.
and the bacon sandwich incident because, what even happened there?
Thank you again for the ask. What’s your favourite Ed Miliband moment? I’d love to know. Please feel free to message or submit to this blog any time!
